Discover Cecina Tomboli di Cecina Nature Reserve da lorenzo 04/09/2020 04/09/2020 174 The Tomboli di Cecina Nature Reserve is located in Marina di Cecina and includes the Tomboli, long cords of dunes covered by dense vegetation that from the beach, go towards the interior of the coastal strip and represent a characteristic ecosystem created to defend the areas grown by sea winds. The Reserve, which stretches for 15 kilometers, is one of the most beautiful Italian forests, rich in dense and varied vegetation that differs as you move inland from the sea. On the beach the lily and the sea poppy bloom, while in the low scrub junipers grow and in the high scrub oaks, maritime pines and domestic pines prevail. The Reserve offers shelter to various species of animals: wild rabbits, foxes, weasels, porcupines, roe deer and badgers. Among the birds are the turtledoves, the green woodpeckers, the hoopoes and the wood pigeons, which stop here for long periods of time. 0 commenti 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestThreadsBlueskyEmail articolo precedente Pineta di Marina di Cecina – riserva naturale Tomboli articolo successivo Teatro Eduardo De Filippo Articoli correlati Airfield 23/03/2021 Costa degli Etruschi 23/03/2021 Tourist Offices 23/03/2021 Blue Flag 2021 confirmed again this year for... 23/03/2021 Marina di Cecina 04/09/2020 Cecina City Center 04/09/2020
